In Stage 3, children move on to words where consonants sit side by side, like stamp, crisp and splash. Each letter in a blend keeps its own sound, and these 11 worksheets help your child hear every one of them.

Later in the stage, the sheets move on to two-syllable words and the -le ending, which prepares children for the longer words in Stage 4.
